If you scroll back you'll find the other YL property word paintings othe the three other camps I've been to. I got to paint WFR- Creekside after this summer back home!
Lost Canyon and Breakaway Lodge coming soon!
Back at it!! It's been a while but I finally got to add some more colors to these old ripped jeans.
I decided to repaint my Bible in grey and a light coral. The verse is one that has been selected to speak truth into and fight all the lies I've ever believed. It's Song of Soloman 4:7 "All beautiful you are my darling, there is no flaw in you."
The "Arms of Love" is a song by Andy Osenga. He was our camp musician last year at Sharp Top Cove where I was a summer intern with Young Life. I found this song after the summer and I absolutely love it. It reminds me to turn and RUN to Gods arms and let Him be in control of every situation. I am also training for the Walt Disey World half marathon in January. So motivation none the less....
The last is for my friend Josh N. He agreed to make us a tire swing if I painted him something.... He wanted Kevin from Disney Pixar's UP... So there he is!
Hope you like them!!

This one took me FOREVER!!! but I finally finished my headboard project!. I love to dance and love songs about dancing. This is a collage of lyrics but they all have one thing in common.... they all talk about dancing! I will say most of the songs might have that country twang to them but not all of them, but what can I say, I would choose cowboy boots over blue suede shoes :)
I used 21 songs total. Can you name them all!??

Last year I sent a painting inspired by the song "Crazy Girl" by the Eli Young Band to my dear friend Katie.  I also gave my "Remind Me Who I Am" by Jason Gray inspired painting to my sweet friend Sarah. Both of the girls loved their paintings and sent me pictures of them in their rooms. I love seeing my paintings set up as part of a home rather than in a stack of canvases on my bookshelf. It brings the paintings to a different kind of life I think and I love that my friends love them :)
Here they are!!

I love doing paintings of song lyrics. This song is "Mercy" by Drew and Ellie Holcomb (Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors). It was custom made for my dear friend Anne Spencer (although I have yet to mail it!!) and it probably one of my favorites I've done so far. I am planning on doing a couple more with this style.

I wake up to this song everyday since my freshman year of college. It reminds me now of one of my YL girls so I decided to paint it for her. The song is "Walking on Water (Surfah Girl)" by my friend Paul Wright. I loved this song even before I knew him. Check out the song to!

"You placed the stars in the sky and you know them by name. You are amazing God"
